Icevo launched an indiegogo campaign to raise funding for the DroneRoute platform. This includes the device which support the new IoT standards LTE Cat M1/NB1 and the web application for the visualization of the drones on the map and even control remotely. The platform opens new posibilities for the interacting with drones, provides visibility to the drones airspace which means higher safety, enables sharing the information about obstacles and weather conditions in an automated way, visualize previous routes, and many other features. This also makes easy deployment of the networks of drones. The first version of the DroneRoute device will support the Ardupilot flight controller for the route commands. The communication between the drones and the internet nodes is encrypted. The web application will support also the mobile terminals.
