Hello there! So I'm looking to get a quadcopter, and I'm not sure which to buy. Here are my requirements: - Must be less than £300 (preferably more like £250) - Must carry a gopro 3+ - must be a fairly reputable brand in that I can get spares when I inevitably crash it into a tree And my hopes; - supports fpv - steady camera footage And if it has any cool features like GPS to follow me, even better! My favourite that I've seen is the 3DR Solo but it's a little out my budget. What would you recommend? Edit: also if it requires building from scratch, I'm fine with that as I run RC Cars and do plenty of small electronics work Thanks! Wayne
Try E-Bay and look for a deal on a DJI P3 or Chroma. When I was starting out I found the cheap drones were just a waste. What I like about this hobby is after your initial investment and barring catastrophic crashes you don't have to spend much more money. I had a Chroma, but I lost it trying to fly under a bridge on a river here in Oregon. I replaced it with a DJI P4 and so far have only replaced 2 props. Both of these models have the features you're looking for, but the most important feature is their superb altitude control, and they both do very well in the wind. The hardest part about flying drones for me was altitude control, now I can just concentrate on taking good pics.
