I have a little, fast lane hornet striker drone, I handle it fairly well, I've gotten used to what to do and what not to do seeing how I have 3 now..haha (that's really just battery ware and tear, from pulling the connectors from
But I would like to take to next step, rpv, long range, camera. Or basically just the next step up from to a drone that can handle the wind a lot Better. Looking to spend $100-$150.

Any quadcopter without GPS is likely to get you in trouble in wind - although powerful models can fight if if you are a good pilot.
In that price range I guess - for me - the next step would be a machine with brushless motors. These have lots of power.

Keep in mind that there are really two separate hobbies/pursuits with drones - those for taking pics and video and those for flying fast/fun/racing/FPV.
    They are completely different....

This is probably the lowest price brushless RTF quadcopter (JJRC).
Another decent model is the HiSky which we have reviewed in this article:

One nice thing about the Hisky is the transmitter it comes with can be used for other builds, just need to pick up another RX (I think it has a 10 model memory.)

I like this one. It's a good starting point into a true hobby grade quad with a fully programmable CC3D flight controller. And it comes with a very sophisticated radio. Standard ZMR type construction is a good thing.

Just need to get a dozen spare props and at least 2 spare arms and another battery (maybe an 1800mAh).

    Some standard props.

These props are more aggressive, get 2 colors.

    Arms.

A nice, light weight 1080p camera for the money.

Thank you very much. I'm really not sure which way I want to go. One for pics or one for "fun flying". Thanks for all the information guys , I'll look into all the suggestions you gave me.
think I might want to much..camera, stunts, range, fpv..haha. Need to decide. Not a strong suit of mine.
    Thanks again. RG & webman.

I also have heard of these stickers you can put on any drone with Gps that connects to your phone via Bluetooth I think.
