I was at the MSRA Picnic today as spotted this drone buzzing about. Is it something the news uses? It appeared quite large, and with a fair wind blowing it was rock solid stable. Not so with my camera but this was the best shot.

Inspire allows dual control - so you can have one pilot and one operating the camera! Inspire allows the camera to rotate 360 degrees without rotating the craft. Phantom is much smaller and easier to put in backpack and haul around Phantom is more stealthy - you won't get noticed as much (which is usually a good thing). Phantom costs much less.
