Hey guys, Recently I got into drone cinematography, and quickly found out how unskilled I am... What I found is that, even trying to get the drone to fly around me in a circle while point the camera at myself is a difficult task, not to mention if the person I'm tracking is moving. As an uncoordinated nerd, I wanted to help myself with some tech. So I hacked together a visual tracking system to take a video feed from the camera, select any region of interest in the video and have the gimbal track it. Here's a quick demo: I also plan to write an Android app for user to select their region of interest on the touch screen. Would anyone be into something like this? My goal is to release this and democratize drone videography, but would like to know if I'm the only one that sucks Thanks in advanced!
