Hey people, I had a idea for using a lightweight (potentially even plastic) RC engine that would simply act as a small generator to re-power the batteries used on the drone. What are you thoughts on this idea and it's possibility.
With 12 volt plug in power convertors and my personal favorite,power packs, trying to rig another generator is not in the cards. Honda used to make a 500 watt genny to power a mini tv. I have a 1200 amp pack that has 120volt invertor , USB and 12 volt output. I use at the camp site to plug in phones and computer. Bit on the heavy side but was bought for $45 at flea market and was used three times to jump vehicles one weekend. Payback would have been pretty good if had to call tow truck or beg for jump cables.
