Attempting to do the antenna mod and after I unsolder the original antenna , I get continuity between the original antenna connection point and the point where I am supposed to ground the coax shield. I know very little about electronics , but that seems like a problem. Maybe when I unsoldered the original antenna I screwed something up. Dont see any actual connection between these two points. Any suggestions?
