Hey all, new to this Drone discussion forum! I am considering buying the Syma X8g, I am curious if their is a better battery I can upgrade it to on this drone to lengthen the flight time.

Not really. There are some that claim more mAh but most users say the difference is negligible. Now if you are willing to hack/cut into the battery bay to make it larger there are some options for longer flight times. Do keep in mind the added weight will put more stress on the brushed motors, shortening their usable life.

I may consider getting the Syma X8C, and attaching a go pro on to that, I would just have to do some research whether it would carry it?

It can carry it, kinda but what will it do the flight times (almost cuts them in half) and to the brushed motors?

A Runcam2 makes more sense as it only weighs ~49 grams.
