Newbie here looking for advice on the Syma X1, my first foray into quads. Coming tomorrow but if anyone has any tips please pass them on, thanks
Main things are: 1. It doesn't fly well in wind. Make sure there is very little if you are flying outside. 2. It needs to be on a very level surface after you insert the battery. Otherwise, the gyro will be calibrated wrong. Keep in mind that this isn't an easy quad to fly. BUT, if you master it you will end up learning a lot and other quads will seem easy. Start slow and keep it within 20-30 feel of yourself - get the feel of it. Always have it facing away from you so the sticks work as you'd expect.
