I guess for me, I got into the Quad piloting within this past year based on some of the interests of my friends. It was frightening yet exciting. Trying to control an object from a distance, perhaps the biggest mistake I had experienced was not reading the directions for the remote control. No doubt, the group of Quad enthusiasts finding amusement in my predicament when the quad left the ground and I realized that I had no idea to how to land it. Thankfully, no one got hurt. However, it was a while before I tried again. This time, everything was working properly and I was more confident and knowledgable on flying. In fact, I don't even think twice on starting up the quad and flying. Such is the dilema of new pilots. However, overall, I have come to realize that I am a part tech nerd and part gear head. It can be said that we are part of a community that keeps on growing. There are a lot of folks in our community. Every one has their own style of communications and sharing. So according to our experience, we’ve distinguished six types of drone community members. Here they are:
