    Hi Folks,

I've searched as much as I can online so thought someone here might have an answer. The typical quad setup involves motors of the same direction installed on diagonals to one another. The theory afik is to prevent unwanted auto rotation by balancing clockwise force with counterclockwise force.

My question is: Does the rotor direction have to be diagonally opposing or can I install 2x clockwise motors on the front and 2x counter clockwise motors on the back?

Has anyone tried this? Does anyone know why this wouldnt work?

I understand this isnt a typical setup, basically, im making a single motor quad with independent rotor control and the transmission is easier installed 2 CC rotors front /2 CW rotors back as described. Not to say that if I didnt have to, i couldn't do it the typical way, it would just involve fewer parts to do so.

    Regards
    Dan
