I have a basic Phantom that I bought last year, but with the prices coming down I'm considering a Phantom 3 Advanced. I like the idea of using my Samsung phone or tablet with it, but I've always had a hard time seeing the screen on either one when I'm out in bright sunlight. How much trouble do those of you who use one have seeing the screen when flying outdoors?
Always a problem - no matter what you do! I try to find a place where I can stand in the shade of a tree or small structure. Other than that, a good sunshade will help. Sure, the best tablets (mostly Apple) do have a brighter screen - but even they cannot compete with a bright midday sun.
