P2 Batt Charger

    I just got a P2 and have a imax B6 charger I used to charge my P1 batteries. Will this charger work OK for my P2 batteries once I have the correct cable to connect to the batteries?

    I think the basic answer is no.
    The P2 smart batteries have most of the smart circuits in the battery so they don't need all of that stuff.

    It may be that you can charge them by matching the output of the DJI included charger and having the proper spades to match the battery.

    In other words a balancing charger is not needed since that stuff is inside the battery.

    OK, I see. I was thinking I wanted to monitor what was going on in the battery which this
    charger does but it's done in the battery (can't really monitor since it doesn't tell you) and
    since there is no balance connector it wouldn't work anyway.
