I do not plan to get a Zenmuse for my P2 anytime soon but I want to mount one of the small FPV cameras like the Fatshark. Is there any diagram or direction around somewhere on how to wire FPV with the IOSD with a external (not a gopro) FPV camera?

    Thanks

I think most of this is described in the plan P2 owners manual on pages 7-10+
That is, it gives voltages and pin outs for battery output, etc.

You can use the voltage out to hook to anything. Or you can use a small battery by itself to power your FPV transmitter and camera. The P2 has lots of payload so that should be no problem either.

Yes I see that and have been looking it over but it does not show where the camera input should be. I was hoping someone would pop in that has done this to make it a little easer.

OK, I think I found it, I enlarged the pdf to see it better and think this would be it. The "video in" which is shown in one of the cables coming out of the P2 body would be the video out from the Zenmuse, correct? So all I need to do is use the video out from the Sony/Fatshark camera to this input. Does that sound correct? VidP2.jpg

I think that's right - video in is composite video and then the OSD thingy overlays it's info onto there and outputs it again.
