What are everyones tips for avoiding no fly zones? Its a big issue at the moment with the drone getting mashed in the plane engine. In most cases I just study maps and watch out for obvious things - like BIG airports (I stay far away) and even smaller active airports (I listen carefully and call tower if very close). I think the idea of really knowing your surrounding is a good one. Luckily, I've been a map lover all my life, so I generally know exactly where I am.
