I recently bought a Hubsan Quads 501s. My first flight around the yard went well, but I realized I needed more space. So I went down to the park and set it up. When I started the props and took off, I realized the controller had switched from mode 2 to mode 1. Before I knew it across the park and moving fast. I panicked and brought it down hard. My question is, since my first flight was in mode 2, why did it switch to mode 1? There's no indication on the screen as to mode.
You probably inadvertently used the the button/throttle sequence that changed it. Put it back in Mode 2 and see what happens. Page 11 in the manual. Stuff happens.
