Hi, I just joined the forum few minutes ago and I am quite sure what I am doing. So please bear with me. I need a little helping a Users Manual for my first machine. I was visiting Lima, Peru and decided to buy a quadcopter at a larger retail for my sun. The copter was called an X7b Space explorer. I am not sure who the manufacture is and it had nothing on the box. All I know is that it was made in China. The box was all in English and I made a point to ask the salesman if the manual was also in English. He said it was in English and Spanish. We guess what. Spanish only! I have looked for 4 days to try and find where I might find a manual for this machine. All to know avail. It was all very confusing with multiple retailers and no good information about the actual manufacture. I did see it listed on Song Yang toys. I sent them about 4 request but never received and acknowledgement. If anyone knows where I can find a Users Manual for this machine in English it would be most appreciated. If someone has an English manual maybe they can scan it and email t to me. Thanks, Bob
You have to do some digging! Based on the name, you should check google and try to verify the style of it and see if it fits a known model. My quick search showed something with a similar name and model made by this company: http://www.sytoys.cn/en/index.aspx Does it look like this? http://www.amazon.com/Lollipop-Little-2-4GHZ-Explorer-4-Channel/dp/B00ZSM13RY or this? http://www.beraven.com/productdetail.aspx?pid=4276 If so, it's made by a small company linked above - Song Yang Unfortunately, only the front page of their web site seemed to be working, but it did contain an email address so if you think this is the model try to email them for a PDF copy of an English owners manual. Hi Webman, Thanks for responding to my post. The links you sent me I have already seen. And they are ads for the machine I purchased. I have even found a few more ads. Been Googling and using the net for the last 5 days. Left a lot of messages on these sights asking for help. Even if someone can give me the manufactures name I might be able to get a manual from them. But when your dealing with these Chinese manufactured products things can get really convoluted. I have found 4 or 5 videos on YouTube showing the X7 Space Explorer being flown. But not enough information to trace back and find a source for the machines manufacture. It looks like the Syma 7 with a few differences. I can figure out a few things like removing and charging the battery and some simple stuff. But since I have never used a transmitter before I have no idea what all bells and whistles are. The machine also apparently has a few options like return to home that I can´t understand. The machine comes in 2 flavors. The X7 without camera and the X7b with camera. I will keep looking. Hopefully someone from one of these web sales pages will respond to help get a manual in English. If not, clear the area of women and children and will go Trail by Fire. I was only going to us this machine for flight practice anyway before moving on to the Phantom 3.
