I'm interested in buying a LiDAR sensor for my drone. I don't know which one to buy as I am new to all this. Are they all nearly the same? What factors should I consider(!). Less than $150 would be suitable. I understand some are better at reading laser distance better than others. Consider a drone that needs to measure the mesh render of a football field (not all are the same). Also consider it's not night time, and it's sunny outside. Understanding that a LiDAR Sensor has an IMU built in(i think). Do I need an IMU installed on my drone to keep it afloat without control from a transmitter?
