One model which is a little of both is the new Hubsan Quads - it won't have stable video, but it will take pics and vids AND you still have the GPS so it won't get blown away by the first breeze.

It's called the Hubsan 501 - here is a link to it.

For some slick, fast sport flying this brushless motor quad is getting a lot of good reviews. That many tweaks can be done, to suit your needs, right in the radio is a nice touch.

I have one of those on the way to me just to mess around with.
At least with a covered shell it won't get splashed with bee bodies like my Runner did - thousands of bees attacked it and it has a gooey coating on all the boards!
I think the Runner won that particular battle....chopping up bees by the dozens.

The intense China competition (seems they are getting a handle on what folks want) has been driving prices down across the board. A good thing. And for those unwilling or unable to actually interface their flight controller with appropriate software, the in radio adjustments are sweet. Crank up if you like or make it docile while learning. I'll be looking forward to your assessment.

I got one from a US dealer and while it seems well put together it seems I got a lemon. The GPS drifts and altitude drops every time I input forward. Hope it will be replaced as I have a couple spare batteries on the water. Set the response to 60 percent and its pretty tame.
