After scouring a plethora of drone forums out there, I finally went to DJI customer service to find an answer for an issue I was having with my P3P Intelligent Battery. I wanted to share it with this community in case you were having a similar issue. ISSUE: While trying to charge a brand new backup DJI Intelligent Flight Battery for my P3P, the LED1 (furthest from power button) on the intelligent flight battery was blinking 3 times while the power button LED was constantly lit. Both LEDs would turn off for a few seconds, and then the sequence would repeat. The battery would not power on my Phantom, and would not take a charge. This blinking LED sequence is not listed in the manual. SOLUTION: To make it short, there is more than likely a bad cell in the battery, and I was instructed to return the battery for a new one. I had a hard time finding an answer online, so I decided to contact DJI customer support to resolve the issue. They asked me to do a "Hard Reset" of the battery (hold the power button for 60 seconds), before attempting to charge the battery. After conducting the hard reset, I tried to charge my battery again without any luck. They told me there was more than likely a bad cell in the battery and it would need to be replaced. Hopefully none of you have this issue, but if you do, here is my solution. Happy Flying!
