Hello, I am new to the quadcopter hobby. If I shell out the money for the Hubsan Quads X4 H107D FPV controller, does that mean I can only use this controller for the X4? If I upgrade to a larger quadcopter later on do I need to buy a separate controller, or can I reuse this one? Thanks!
Only for the Hubsan Quads! Of course, they could come out with another model and make it work with that.... My advice - in general - is to NOT buy an FPV micro like this for a starter quad. In fact, I don't like tiny FPV quads in general for a number of reasons. Cost Have to be flown very near you to not lose - so pics and video are nothing you could not get with your cam on a stick. Very short flight times. Having to pay attention to FPV while trying to keep a non-GPS and non-stabilized quad in the air is very difficult.
