   Hi, im new around here. I have just got the Hubsan Quads with 5 spare batteries. However the batteries are only lasting around 30 seconds after a charge. Also they seem like they are charging very fast, around 10 minutes. Any advice for a newbie please

   Sure sounds like a bad battery charger (the usb thingy).

   Well, we have to assume you have a couple USB ports to try - like those on your computer or a phone charging block (small). Any of those should work fine.
