I would go for the Hubsan Quads since it doesn´t give you any help at all with flying. It´s better to have a cheap quad to really learn to fly on and then buy another one with GPS and return to home when you want to take some good footage. Then you can fly it with no problems and can handle it even in panic.

You will crash, and it´s better to learn to fly and crash with a cheap quad. And you will learn to fly better with a quad that doesn´t help you.

Hubsan Quads is great - so is the Syma X12...or, if you are gonna fly outside in a bigger area the Syma X5.

I had a flyaway with a Syma X5 recently..if you buy the X5 it s quite a good model but it s kind of easily sent to far away (or/and to high) to quickly...out of the range and then problems...for the money it s a great quad .....just be carefull to keep it in the range of the controller (bear in minfd that it does not have the headless mode and in the air things are happening quite quickly if you loose your bearings) .....the advantage of the X5 is that is very error forgiving, very easy to fly, and in the worst case even if lost/destroyed one s not going to cry over 50$ as he would for some other models that are far more expensive...I d really recommend the X5 to all those not yet familarised with the flight techniques....

Edit, if this is going to be your first drone, I d really suggest a Syma X-5 then any other model, as said in some other revieuw I watched on youtube it s saying "your mother could fly this" and they are really not far from the truth. The X5 is really stable and it s gicving you the chance to get that "feeling" of connection between the drone and your controller...and even if you crash it you can probably buy another one....dammit I have 4 extra batteries and a charger for these batteries for my "flown away" Syma X5, 4 new original stock rotors and 4 new 3 blades rotors....since I am not going to have another X5 I am giving these away for free...if you buy the X5 I ll send you the batteries and all 8 rotors provided you pay the shippement...
