Hi guys, i havent got a clue who to ask who isnt biased so thought id ask you guys. Im fairly new to Drones/Quads but dont seem to be to bad with the one I have, Its only a cheapy Syma one but i seem to be handling it fine atm. I used to race RC cars back in the day and would normally either win or come 2nd so my level was quite good really. Now ive been hooked a little with this drone and am thinking about paying out for a decent one which i can grow with... Ive been looking at the Storm SRD250 and that seems a great beginner to pro Drone! There are 6 difficulty lvls on it so i thought if i stay on beginner for a while and learn the drone well, then i can eventually try a more difficult setting? I'm not too sure tho how beginner friendly the SDR250 will be though? The ones that I found interesting and partially narrowed it down to were the storm SRD250 pro, and the storm Type A Naza lite with gps. Do I really need gps though? It's only £50 more..... Anyway any help from someone in the know would be greatly appreciated before I pull the trigger on one and make a mistake. Kind regards... Simon
I just got a black widow racer from hobbyking, it comes with a really nice radio, battery and hard case it all fits in. The quad is very stable and CRAZY fast ID you want it to be. I bought it for under 300 and well worth the money! Replacement frames are under $5 and available from the US warehouses.
Just keep in mind that the light weight toys are pretty indestructible, they can take multiple crashes. This is a very nice package with a decent radio (it's the radio I use) http://www.Banggood.com/Eachine-Falcon-250-FPV-Quadcopter-with-FlySky-i6-2_4G-Remote-Control-5_8G-HD-Camera-RTF-p-1026335.html As you are new I would recommend taking off the tilted motor mounts at first. This is a sweet package, comes with a very slick radio but no FPV. http://www.Banggood.com/Eachine-EC250-Racer-Drone-With-RadioLink-2_4G-9CH-AT9-Transmitter-R6D-CC3D-RTF-p-1008943.html? Spare arms (always get spare arms and lots of props) for both can be found on eBay, under QAV or ZMR250. Are these as good as what you chose? Not really, but both are a great value. Just saying.
