Hints and Tips Discussion Help! Cheap gimbal with DJI P2 problems

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a cheap gimbal for my Phantom 2 but I am having real problems getting it to work properly.

I have followed all the instructions that I could find online as the ones included were shocking.
Am I doing something completely wrong? The gimbal powers up fine, and sometimes works fine with no controller wires connected.
about 60 - 70% of the time though, it vibrates or judders.

When I do connect the controller wires, it freaks out. I have recorded everything I have done in a video that should help me explain my problem.

Can anyone help? I'm worried it's something in the drone causing the problem (I bought it used but there was no mention of any issues)
