I posted a previous thread about this drone but being a newbee I forgot to post any photos of the drone. The drone is a Hamleys Trojan and I need to purchase a new body for it after a crash but I don't know the actual manufacturer of the drone.I hope someone can help me as I have posted some photos of it.Thank you.
Is it a large quad? How do the measurements stack up to this? This may be it. http://www.runqiatoys.com/rc-helicopter-spare-parts/runqia-toys-rc-helicopter-parts/runqia-rq77-18-drone-parts.html
Hi, thank you for your reply, the measurements of my drone is as follows, the height of 190mm is the same,the350mm measurement between the motors is 380mm ,the other measurement of 250mm between motors is 270mm,the other measurement which I presume is the length of the propeller is230mm.Hope this helps.Thank you
Well that's the measurements of a Syma X8. If push comes to shove maybe you can use that shell. https://goo.gl/nGacXj
So many of these companies just relabel others - other companies clone (or near clone), so it becomes almost impossible. http://www.gearbest.com/rc-quadcopters/pp_252339.html The fake GPS...I know I saw that somewhere. I will look.
I think this is it - at least it has the fake GPS mast. http://www.drone-maniac.com/test-bayang-x16-brushless-Syma-x8c-competitor/ (now that I look closer, the one I linked to has brushless motors, but it still may be the same maker) Hamleys is a chain of stores and they have a customer service form. They may be able to confirm what parts fit it (it is not in their current web site - that model). https://www.hamleys.info/HAM_Forms/Customer_Services/OtherEnquiryForm.php
Note to anyone else reading this thread. We always suggest staying away from "no name" or private label drones because it is hard to figure out who made them and get advice and parts. Best to buy Syma, XK, Hubsan Quads (small) or JJRC, etc - well known names that have been around for years and can be found on multiple sites.
