Gone for good?

    Had a serious senior memory laps last night and left the Drone Syma X5SM out in a torrential down pour. Was not raining earlier yesterday but due too nagging wife duties I put the drone to the side and preformed house duties. Well goes without saying by the time I finished I had completely forgotten I had been out flying. I was reminded 4 hours later by lightning crashes during a biblical down pour that had been going on for 1 hour.
    Suddenly as if the lightning strike had awaken a brain cell I remembered my drone was still outside. I retrieved it but it was dripping water everywhere.

    So, question is did I just lose my drone for good?

    Thanks for all replies;

    If you don't try to turn it one - remove the battery and dry it out, it just may work.

    Really dry it out. Don't rush it. Give it some days.

    RG your suggestion was spot on .Waited one week letting my battery dry out. Plugged it in yesterday and it powered the unit as soon as I flipped the switch.
    For all the problems the Syma X5SM has water is not one of them.
