Hi guys, what drone would be most cost effective (read cheap) to carry a couple of decent size sinkers and some bait off a beach? Would need to be fairly stable and have a programmable flight path as it's often in the dark. We only fish in wind under 15km/h generally.
Here in Oregon UAVs are prohibited for use in scouting both in hunting and fishing. I don't know if using one to cast bait falls under that law, but I would sure check it out with your states laws. Another consideration is do you want to fly your expensive quad over the water at night? Here is a video of surf fishing with a drone:
