Hello! I'm interesting in building a quadcopter, but I'm quite a noob, this being my first ever miniquad,. I have watched this 5 part series, on how to building a budget miniquad. The Youtuber lists the parts that are needed as follows: Camera: http://www.Banggood.com/DC12V-13-Sony-960H-CCD-700TVL-2_8mm-Lens-Camera-for-FPV-QAV250-p-974381.html Transmitter: http://www.Banggood.com/WLtoys-V222-2_4G-4CH-6-Axis-RC-Quadcopter-Transmitter-p-78480.html - Not sure if this will work, It looks like it will. ESC: http://www.Banggood.com/Emax-Simonk-Series-12A-20A-25A-30A-40A-ESC-For-Quadcopter-QAV-250-p-918126.html - Youtuber lists Afro ESC's but some people say they burn out too quickly Frame kit: http://www.Banggood.com/H250-ZMR250-250mm-Carbon-Fiber-Mini-Quadcopter-Multicopter-Frame-Kit-p-933185.html Telemetry receiver: http://www.Banggood.com/FrSky-D4RII-24G-4CH-ACCST-Telemetry-Receiver-p-929069.html Transmitter module: http://www.Banggood.com/Skyzone-TS5823-5_8G-200mW-32CH-AV-Transmitter-Module-p-922418.html Motors: http://www.Banggood.com/DYS-BE1806-2300KV-Brushless-Motor-Black-Edition-for-Multicopters-p-946416.html Propellers: http://www.Banggood.com/Gemfan-5x3-Inch-Plastic-5030-Propeller-CWCCW-For-240-250-Frame-p-937866.html Flight controller: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__68630__AfroFlight_Naze32_Acro_AbuseMark_FunFly_Controller_Soldered_version_Vertical_Pin_.html I have a few questions, and parts that are missing. I need a battery, what battery will be suitable for this? As well as how would I charge it? In the video, the guy suggests a OSD module, if I don't have telemetry, but I do so I don't think I need that. I would like to able to control it with my phone, Hobbyking asistant has suggested this: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__21430__Hobbyking_IOS_Android_4CH_WiFi_Receiver.html but I wouldn't have a clue how to connect it. (Display video on the phone etc.) As well, as anything that can be added to improve.
Sorry I can't help but I would like to know how you're getting on with the build if you decided to go ahead with it.
