Hello, drone newbie here, I would like some recco's on what to purchase to do roof inspections. Home inspector looking to use drones for acquiring video/pics of home and building roofs. I would like quality equipment but i am not making cinematic releases. Also think it might be important to be able to see what the drone see's to focus in on problem areas, especially in regular daylight conditions. Thank you
If you have the extra money, the Phantom 4 has obstacle avoidance which may help in some situations to avoid a crash. Other than that, it's somewhat up to budget. The Phantom 3 Pro is a good choice - normally I would say no need or 4K video BUT you can use 4K and then get good stills out of it. I have inspected some roofs and chimneys with mine (at our condo) and it comes out great.
