It all depends on exactly what you want to do. The Q500 comes with the display built in. It is larger and easier to see further away. It is reportedly easier to set up and fly from scratch. The P3 has vastly better range and a better cam and more technical chops all in all...but those come at a certain price (not $$, but pilot and operator education, etc.). The P3 is hard to beat on any specs for the price. I don't know how they stuffed all that tech in there for the price. After reading a lot about the company I suppose they are willing to make a small profit but go high volume. REALLY high volume. Like starting at a million units per year and going up from there.
