Is there any restrictions on comercial drown photo? If not what is the Normal charge for this service. rdb1949,
You should use the google thing to search on the topic - too long and convoluted to summarize in a forum post. Start here: http://knowbeforeyoufly.org/ http://mashable.com/2014/07/01/faa-real-estate-companies-drones/ In short, the FAA says commercial use is not allowed. Some judges have disputed this. They claim they are working on coming up with actual rules. Even when they do, you would probably need training and a license. There is no normal charge since those who do it might do a $100 job for a real estate agent or others might do a $10,000+ job for a movie production.
The FAA just released a proposal for governing small commercial drone use. Here's the article: www.usatoday.com/story/news/2015/02/15/faa-drone-rule/23440469/ Experts say they might not publish concrete legislation for 18 months, or longer, however. Either way, still a great step forward.
