What brands are the most reliable and the best "bang for the buck"?

Interested in both smaller models to fly indoors as well as larger ones to fly outside.

Smartphone/tablet integration is a plus but not necessary.

The only ones I am slightly familiar with are:

(outdoor, cheaper, video but no FPV) Hubsan Quads, Syma X5C-1
(outdoor, more expensive, with FPV) Phantom, Parrot
(indoor) Parrot Minidrone, Hubsan Quads FPV X4 Mini

    Thanks.

P.S. If there are more questions I need to answer, please ask. Thanks.

Recently Syma release a new product "Syma X5SW"

    I saw it's $74.99 for sale at LighTake.com

This one support wifi control Fpv

What do you think about this Syma Fpv product?

These are all "toy grade" machines and are fine for learning and a little bit of fun and demonstration. However, they will not last long as the brushed motors will burn out - especially with the added weight of FPV.

They are a good deal for what you get - but will take some work and parts for you to keep them flying.
