    Hello dear drone users :p

I m gonna buy my first drone within a week - thinking about galaxy visitor 7, but i can see there are multiple drone "modes" available, 1 and 2 to be specific. I took a look what mode means and found that it stand for something like controller setup ( rudder, pitch etc. ). From what i have read, i think that mode 1 will be easier to handle for me, but my question is, is there posibility to switch between modes without buying another controller and or replacing whole product ? thank u for your answers ;) ( if there will be any :D )

Some are built to be switchable (MJX), if not it's a daunting job.

This is mode 2, I post this cuz Syma seems confused.

If starting from scratch it should make no difference to learn. Mode 2 is by far the most popular, at least in the USA. I'd stick with Mode 2.

Seems you are buying a rather pricey quad for your first choice. Note you will crash often, and if you try to be super careful you won't gain any real flying skill.

I suggest something cheap to start out on. This is a great little quad that has been discounted. Stick with the green one.

Grab a couple of spare batteries and master the basics.

It's nice to have a quad you can beat up or just fly at home.

I m flying a lot in various flying simulators for PC using joystick ( also got gamepad ) so i m not that "noob" when it comes to flying :p but drone is a bit different story i know ;) i have tried drone simulator software ( game ) with both modes, and they feel pretty much same for me, its more likely about sensitivity that i need to play around with. About crashes - i will fly as safe as possible during first few hours, then i will try to go for "speed mode" :D

Sorry for double post, but i also got question about difference between galaxy visitor 6 and galaxy visitor 7. Which one is "better" ?
    Galaxy Visitor 7
    - Seems to be released later than visitor 6.
    - Better camera.
    - Price ~270€
    Galaxy Visitor 6
    - Seems to have better "reputation".
    - More replacement parts.
    - Price ~170€.
    - A bit wider rotors ( fans ).
A price is not problem for me just asking if there is something more that i should know about between those 2 models.

It isn't about speed it's about not being afraid to practice trickier maneuvers, mastering them one at a time.
    PC joysticks and gamepads? :)

    Forget the Galaxys, old stuff.

    Want FPV look into this.

    Yes.

Well, those models arent available in my country ( e-shops ) only galaxy visitors. and couple of others ( most DJI ) that are either too expensive or too crappy xD. Galaxy Visitor seems to be my best bet as i wont do any extreme flying manuevers, only recreation flying and taking some nice vids \ photos. Galaxy Visitor 7 doesnt look outdated as it was released in november 2015 ? idk what release dates are for each galaxy visitor drone. but on the other hand Visitor 6 seems to have better flying capability. I m just wondering if there is any visible difference between 6 and 7 camera, my phone has full hd resolution ( xperia z ) just like my computer screen. I wish there was more videos of visitor 7 :\
