We are building an octocopter drone from scratch fro our robotics class. We are fairly new to drones and have never built one before. We are unsure on some of the programming and wiring. How do we program the Flight Controller sensor and IMU sensor? Here is a list of our components:

    IMU

    FLIGHT CONTROLLER

    TRANSMITTER

    MOTORS

    BATTERIES

    ESC

Basically what I'm saying is that we have the drone put together, we have the motors and the ESC's wired together, but can't figure out how to test them. We know that we need the transmitter to test them obviously, but we don't know how to bind it to the motors or if there is some sort of programming we have to do to it. As you can tell we don't really know what we are doing and any kind of help would be amazing. Thanks
