I recently bought a JXD509W and it came with a 600mAh battery. The flight time is only about 5-10 minutes with the camera and lights on. I have some 3.7V 500mAh batteries from another drone. I was thinking about wiring the batteries in parallel to give me more flight time but I am concerned about how it will affect the motors running that long. Does anyone have any experience or input on this?

The main problem is weight, which will make the motors work harder and hotter, hence shorten their lifespan. The extra weight will also partially offset any runtime gains.

Try looking for a slightly more mAh battery with a JST connector. 700-800Mah maybe.
