I haven't really seen a thread about this one yet. Seems to be a very nice drone with good reviews.

Anyone here used one that can give feedback?

I have one. It is my first drone, and I have only made 3 flights so far as its only a week old. That said, it seems a fairly well made and thought out drone. There have been no issues with flight for me so far, but a thorough review as a new ee is not in my comfort level at this point. The camera seems to be awesome, and there are some users who say this is the best camera for its price point..

Haven't flown it yet, but looked it over at CES and talked to the company...

I would say it's the first model ever to be competitive with the DJI Phantom....and, in some ways, it's a copy (or similar) to the DJI models.

I will be testing one extensively soon.
Being a very conservative pilot and buyer, I personally choose the equiv. DJI models for a couple reasons. First, the SDK (3rd party access and apps) is already out and fairly mature. That means more options like Litchi, Autopilot and many more.
Second is that there is always a chance of a new company deciding they cannot continue the pace of R&D, etc.
That is, we know DJI is in this for the decades to come - while up and coming competitors may or may not (depending on how well they do)...

So, even without flying, I'd say the Autel is the best to consider for those people who - for whatever reason - don't want a DJI craft. But as far as actual technical superiority, I would say that the P4 wins and the Autel is more similar to those which it is priced near (the P3P, P3 4K, etc.).
Some buyers like the tried and true - others want the new kid on the block.

Autel is built upon some of the Ardupilot codebase - which really doesn't mean anything now, but it is possible it could be a benefit in the future if various 3rd parties are allowed to improve upon the features.
