Are FPV Goggles Illegal?

Hey, everyone, I was just wondering if FPV Goggles are illegal yet? I know as of a couple months ago they weren't. I haven't been doing any recent flying due to how busy I was.

 

I can't believe I have 33 views and 0 responses. Has this conversation died out?

 

Why would they be illegal?

 

Because I thought the FAA was trying to ban them because you couldn't see the qaudcopter when you were looking into the fpv goggles?

 

FAA part 107 certification is to address this. Flying FPV out of line of site will require it.
