Here are some reviews, examples and comments on the 808 #16 Camera.

The real 808 #16 is available from a number of sellers and can be distinguished from imitators mostly by it's price - it will usually run $40-$50. It has a number of features that the copycats do not, including easy programming with a PC or Android tablet as well as a selection of lenses. It is often used with the included video (analog) out cable for FPV setup.

At a weight of <18 grams, it's less than 1/2 the weight of the Mobius (39 g), so can be used in certain situations where the Mobius is to heavy. Many hobbyists have stripped additional weight off the 808 by removing the case or drilling holes in it, using a different battery, etc.

Control program for 808 #16 Android - this is quite handy for changing the settings as well as adjusting focus on the larger lenses (you can set as webcam and then adjust focus in real time).

Th #808 16 can be adjusted to take snapshots every X seconds....as well as the normal HD (720 30 fps) video.

Before I go into some of the example pics and video, let me offer a quick conclusion. The new Mobius is far far superior to the #16 in just about every way other than the weight. So unless you are on a really tight budget or don't have the payload capacity, you should consider the Mobius if aerial photography/video is your goal. Look at some of the pics of RI or MA in our Aerial Showcase and you'll see for yourself.

Following are two stills and two videos taken using the 808 #16. You can find others around the web by searching youtube and vimeo. Bottom line is that in perfect lighting conditions, you can get some decent video (for smaller windows or screens) from this camera. However, technology marches on and what looked great two years ago starts to look different compared to what is being posted these days. The keychain cameras react poorly to changes in lighting conditions and can go into making rainbows or washing out entire houses (see video).
