Basically I already have one or outdoor use and want to find it fantastic! But for obvious reasons it is not really suitable for indoor use and I think it would be fun to have a mini one which can be used indoors as it would be a cool gimicky device which could be use for taking photos at family gatherings etc. However I'm aware because it indoors far more people are likely to want to use it and are for this reason looking for a really cheap one with a camera. Suggestions?
Cheap/camera/indoors generally do not go well together. I just got into drone's and my main interest is photography. I got an inexpensive one to get my feet wet and it came with a 2mp camera. It does so-so outside in nice light. Low light? Forget it. I haven't seen small/cheap in anything I could imagine would take good pics indoors. Soon I hope to purchase one with at least 8mp but none I've seen so far could be what I would consider mini.
On Amazon, you can get the Syma X5SW for around $60. Good quality drone, very durable build, and very good picture quality for the price. If you want a more expensive choice, the WLToys V686G is a smaller, faster, and lighter drone with a bit more flight time and better video quality. The V686G also has a FPV (first person view) screen so you can see what the camera is seeing so you can better line up your shot, and costs $115. Both drones are good for indoor use, and easy to stabilize and hover. Links to each quad are below. I have yet to see a single toy quadcopter that takes 1/2 decent pics. I can't even stand to look at most of them.... You are much better off using a ladder or a selfie stick indoors. Maybe this will change in a few years -but not now.

Amazon is OK, plus don't forget about Chinese retailers. But if you want to get the Phantom 4 drone I'd suggest you buy it on Amazon or at official DJI shop.
