    Hello,

I've had a Hubsan Quads X4 for six months which I bought to learn the basics of flying.
I upgraded the camera and have had great fun but would now like a drone capable of shooting stable footage.
I have a SJCam action cam so maybe I could use this?
I am only twelve so have a pretty limited budget but you never know it is Christmas soon ;-)
I've been looking at the Cheerson CX20 and second hand DJI Phantom 1.1/FC40 (are they the same?). The phantom is still quite expensive though!

Can anyone give me any tips or recommendations?

    Thanks

Well too bad our leader Webman hasn't made an entrance, he is the ultimate authority on these. One advantage of the Phantom 1.1 (over the newer versions) is it's ability to use standard 3s LiPos. Many have commented that a 2800Mah will fit.

I myself have considered this and would hang my Dazzne P2 on it.

Buying used is always a crap shoot, but this is a good dealer (won't work for you though).

At about ~$240 for for a new CX20, if the $60 more used Phantom hasn't been abused it would be better, more refined choice.
