Hi Guys! After i did good research i found these 2 drones are the best for the budget under €400 "cheerson cx-20" and "walkera runner 250 advance" but i am not sure which one would you recommend?!! Appreciate your help!

They are completely different types of models. The runner is a racing-type of quadcopter. We tested one and it did not meet our standards.

The Cheerson is a GPS type of quadcopter which is designed more for lifting a camera.

What do you want to do with your quadcopter?

Yes the main thing i am looking for is the aerial photography (stability and video quality). so i think i will go with the CX-20 + G-2D Gimbal + sj4000 wifi camera. i will try to use the WiFi first to connect to my samsung s6 edge phone and see the coverage distance! if it cover about 100m i will be very satisfied, if not so i will get the "FPV" for the CX-20.

Please help me guys if i am thinking wrong.. and let me know if you have any other ideas in the budget of €400?!

    1. Make sure the frequency of the CX-20 control TX and the SJ4000 are not the same! (if they are both 2.4GHZ it may interfere)
    2. You should be able to search around and see the range and frequencies on various cameras which may be able to be used with the gimbals.

    Check:
    Yi
    SJ models
C-GO1 (ilook) (these are 5.8GHZ and deals can be found on ebay, etc. sometimes - they have adequate range).

It will take a lot of work and tuning to put the whole thing together and have it work properly.

If I were to give some advice I would say sell some of your other toys and save up and buy a Phantom 3 Standard (on sale for $699 US - not sure what Euro price is) - because you will get a system that is vastly better as far as the quality of video and everything else.

Hi web man I really appreciate your feedback, defiantly the phantom 3 will be much better but the price in Europe is around €900 it's too expensive for me :( at the same time I found the reviews for the CX-20 really good so I was thinking to give it a try. But to be honest I know it's need a bit of work and online search to make it work.. Do you agree with me or you don't recommend the CX-20 ? Do you recommend anything else under €500? Thx for help!

The CX-20 is definitely worth the money! I just wanted to make sure you knew that you'll need to be handy and technical to put all the various pieces of kit together and make sure it works properly. Some of the CX owners have had to replace motors and things like that.
But you will also learn a lot in the process.

If you are looking to put together the lowest price gimbal equipped model then you are probably on the right track unless you can find a used Phantom 2 Vision + at your price range.

Yes you alright I'll try to find a used phantom first and if nothing I'll start the cx-20 mission :)

Do you recommend any place to get the cx-20 from ? I should get the open source version or doesn't matter!

    cheers

And finally i found this one to add to the comparison :) !!
    XK DETECT X380-C
The "C" version including everything (ready to fly) at price €430

    Phantom 2 'USED' / walkera qrx350 pro + G-2D Gimbal + ilook camera / CX-20 + G-2D Gimbal + ilook camera / XK Detect X380-C (which include everything)

The open source version may give you more flexibility in troubleshooting.
I think the Walkeras are based on the same technology (APM or FreeX) although they may have modified them.

Hobbyking or Banggood are both decent vendors and should sell the Cheerson or a similar bird (HK Quantum Nova is the same I think).

Those prices on ebay was without the gimbal and camera and FPV, of course.

I think at this point it's all your decision. There is not "best one" as any of these will require you to properly install, tune and test the gimbal and camera and FPV. The quadcopters themselves are fairly solid - it's really the integration with other items that can cause headaches.
You may want to look online for some blogs and forums where other pilots have added camera, gimbal and FPV to these models. That may help you make a decision because you will at least have instructions to follow and some suggestions on the exact materials and parts to purchase.

    Good Luck!

    Here's a nice CX20 setup. About ~$470. Dropping to standard (not 2K) SJ 4000 ~ $410.

    Looks pretty good to me.

Do note the CX 20s do seems prone to QC issues.
