DJI has lowered - probably temporarily - the price of the Phantom standards. It's now $699 http://click.dji.com/1yk3KUe9TO2kUNTE This is pretty amazing - the camera and gimbal are worth at least $400 (even as a replacement part) and the battery is worth $15o. The Remote itself is worth quite a bit. You can't go wrong on this deal. I would have never believed that you could buy a full featured model for $700 at this point in time.
I'm not marrying it......you can always paint some sharks teeth on it.......or buy a decal. I don't want my machines to attract any attention.......I'm always in stealth mode. You could even plaster your favorite pin-up on the top of it.....like those guys did in WWII. Made those planes look spiffy!
