Hello, I hope someone can give me a suggestion on what quad to buy. I don't care if I have to build it or if this is something rtf. but what I would like is to stay as low as I can in price. I want something that will be stable, have setting for RTH. I plan on using this for practice and to mount my Fatshark FPV. I also don't mind if it does not use a name brand gps as long as it works and can be programed. I am in the USA so shipping is a concern depending on where it comes from. I also will need a radio. Thanks for any help you can offer
If you haven't already, you should look at those $399 specials on the DJI's - B&H Photo. I don't think you can beat that price and model for messing around and also having GPS, RTH, decent payload and lots of support from other owners and parts makers. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=1010830&Q=&is=REG&A=details
Thank you, I am going to check it out now. I forgot about the 1st version of the phantom. That has proven its self so maybe that would be a great choice?
That's the way I feel - if you buy any quad within the first 3-4 months of release, you are likely the pioneer who is going to pay a price! I think most quads mature in about 8 months to a year....look at the Hubsan Quads X4, the new one is much more what the first one should have been, etc
