Hello.... My name is Marty - found this forum after googling "Best Drone Forums" As the title notes: I'm new to drones and planning on buying one to play with when traveling on vacation and maybe cover a wedding or two for friends. I have a $1,500 budget and want to make sure I'm getting the right drone. I was planning on getting the Phantom 4 until I recently saw the Mavic - now I'm leaning towards the Mavic. Hoping someone here can guide me to the best drone so I don't waste my money on a piece of junk My first question... most of the drones I'm seeing have a limited flying time of less than 1/2 an hour due to battery life. Does anyone know how long the Mavic will operate before it overheats or shuts down due to too much flying time? I'm thinking of buying several battery packs so I keep flying longer but wondering if the Mavic has a limited time due to heating issues or something else. Appreciate any information. Best, Marty C
