    Hi Guys,

I'm currently testing out the mariner drone (soon to be replaced with the splash drone).
Here's a link to one of my tests, flying the mariner in torrential rain.

What other tests would you like to see? It's always good to get peoples opinions of stuff like this.

This is great - thanks for sharing, George! How did you manage to get the fire brigade involved?

    Thanks for the support!:)
I really just walked in and explained what i was doing with the Mariner and how i wanted to test it and they were really keen. Now they've seen what it can take they are keen to shoot it with their high power hoses in a sort of clay pigeon shooting style game! should be fun

That's great! How long have you been flying drones? The video was very professional - is drone flying your hobby or a business?

Thank you! No it's just a hobby. I'm reviewing a number of products related to drones at the moment but not getting paid for any of it! Been flying for 6 months. Built a drone just before x-mas to explore aerial architectural photography (i'm an architectural photographer) but more from a point of my own interest than anything else. Not using it professionally though tempted to get a license!

Not familiar with regs in the UK - do all drone operators need a license there, or only commercial operators?
